Social Studies Assignment due March 3rd.
Students will choose a president, research and report on him on March 3rd.
Students have been given a note that gives them ideas/choices of how they can report to the class. Some of the ideas are: book report, shoebox diorama, mobile, slide show, dress up as the character, make a movie, tri-fold board, pizza box, foldables, write a play, etc…
They are very excited about this assignment!!
Remember Reading homework is due on Thursday. No recess on Friday if it is not turned in!!
Beginning February 1st, my Reading students will begin having a passage for homework that will come home on Mondays and will be due on Thursdays. If they do not return it, they will miss recess on Friday and complete the homework then. This homework will resemble a STAAR passage. Students will also bring home a strategy page that will help them work through the passage and help parents understand what will be expected of students on the STAAR. PLEASE help your child with this homework, check over their answers, encourage them, and make sure they get it done. This practice is essential for their success on the test.
Thank you so much for your support! You are a such an important part of their success at school!
