Reading Logs are due Friday, April 22nd.   These are for a grade in the grade book, so please encourage your child to write down what they read each night even if they write on notebook paper.  They just need to read, read, read!

The end of the year is near!  Some items that may be helpful to know ahead of time are listed below:

17 days until STAAR test!  Make sure your child is at school and ready to learn these last 3 weeks before the test!  Test dates are May 9th and 10th.

The Color Run is  May 7th.

Field Day is May 18th for 4th grade.

Monday, April 4th, students will have Reading homework which is due on Thursday, April 7th.

Please check over this homework with your child and encourage them to use their strategies.

New reading logs will be coming home today and they are due back on April 22nd.  If all reading logs are turned in on time, the class will earn extra recess.

Thursday is a busy day:  Report cards go home, Spring pictures, and Easter Parties.  Our party will consist of ice cream sundaes at 10:45!

Every student in my homeroom class turned in Reading Homework!!!  They will be having 30 minutes of free time today!!

Students do not have Reading homework this week due to the fact there is a project due Thursday.

Reading homework this week is a passage called “Man and Girl and Beast”, which is due on Friday.

Writing Benchmark will be Tuesday.
